Edge of the Ridge Traditional Cache

This cache is hidden within view of the Ridge Cemetery. I have passed this sign often, but have never stopped. Like many of the small cemeteries in this area, a number of the grave sites date well back into the 1800’s. Having traced my genealogy back fourteen generations, I find these cemeteries very interesting. Please park outside the gate and take the short walk back to the grave site. As the sign says, please close the gate behind you. This should include the time while you are looking for the cache. What you are seeking is a 2” cube (old medicine container) that has been painted to blend in with the surroundings. It is away from the graves and is easily accessible, although not to wheelchairs. There may be room for a couple of small trade items, but please do not over pack the container. Having your own pen would also be helpful. Daytime caching only.
