This cache has been placed to honor an Eagle Scout project. In 1976, M.E. planted trees and yucca plants, along with other landscaping, to beautify these islands. He spent time over the summer watering these trees to give them a good start. Over thirty years later, these trees have not only survived but thrived to add some green beauty to an urban setting.
I chose ‘Reverent’ because I know M.E. from church where he continues to embody all of the traits you would expect from an Eagle Scout.
