Geocache Description:

This is cache 9 of 12 in a Cache to Eagle series which highlights Eagle Service Projects completed by the Boy Scouts of Thunderbird District, Gulf Ridge Council. You are searching for a camouflaged bright orange matchstick container.

This Eagle Service Project was completed in April 2006 by Aaron D. of Troop 767. The purpose of the project was to repair and modify existing playground equipment and build new equipment at Grace Brethren Church. Scouts and other volunteers completed the work over two days, with total project time estimated at 127.75 hours, including planning and preparation. Materials for the project cost approximately $99.00, with many other items generously donated for the effort.

This cache is close to the project site on public property.

Inside the cache container is a laminated yellow note with a code word. Please make note of the code word, and once you have found all 12 Thunderbird District Cache to Eagle caches, e-mail the cache names and corresponding code words to me using the link in my profile. The first 100 cachers to find a complete district series within Gulf Ridge Council will receive a free Cache to Eagle patch in honor of Scouting's 100 anniversary year celebration.
