Geocache Description:

The road leading to Ground Zero winds through a hollow carved from the rocky terrain by a small (but powerful) stream. There are a couple of public pull-offs where you can park and walk to see the small waterfalls and rock cuts up close. There are some larger waterfalls on the way to the cache site and beyond.
The cache is a short walk on level terrain with no bushwhacking from the second public pull-off you come to. Coordinates for the pull-off are listed under additional waypoints below.

This cache was placed in the tradition of geocaching taking you to beautiful places you would have otherwise never discovered. They are my favorite caches to seek and I wish more people would hide in such places.
You are looking for an ammo box hidden in a depression in the rock cut just off the road near the pull-off. No climbing is necessary, the cache is in easy reach, though you will have to lean forward, look down and reach to retrieve it.
It is important you replace the cache exactly as found and camo cover as well (or better) than you found it, as it will be visible from the road if not camo covered well. The first cache location was exposed by road trimming (you will see the exposed hollow in the rock cut where cache used to be) and muggles destroyed it and took the ammo box. The cache is now located about 10 feet from where it used to be in a depression camouflaged by mosses and ferns hanging off the rock cut. Please take care not to destroy the moss and fern cover and to replace the stone and bark covering the ammo box exactly as found. Also, please take the ammo box back to your vehicle as soon as you find and retrieve it, to sign the log and explore the cache away from the cache site, as there is more traffic here than you would expect and I don't want it to get muggled again. Use your best stealth to avoid site discovery by the slow moving traffic!
If you enjoyed the first half of this unique road to the cache, I recommend you continue past the cache to experience all the scenic beauty this road offers. Please practice CITO and HAPPY CACHING!!
