(CAT) : La zona de Monticalvari, a tocar del nucli antic de Sant Feliu de Guixols, es una obaga humida amb una frondosa vegetació formada per suros, alzines i eucaliptus. Hi trobem també, restes de construccions rurals i d’antics jardins. Era característic d’aquest indret la bonica font de Monticalvari, font del segle XIX, avui malauradament abandonada. Quina pena m'ha fet veure l'estat d'abandonament de la font, lloc del que tinc inesborrables records de la meva infantesa: les meves primeres excursions, berenars amb l'àvia, cua de gent a buscar aigua , … Esperem que l'ajuntament entengui que Sant Feliu no és només la façana litoral i Vilartagas i comprengui la importància de recuperar aquests petits racons tan emblemàtics per a la memòria històrica de la ciutat. M'ha semblat que les alzines, que donen ombra a aquest racó, s'han solidaritzat amb el meu sentiment i volen anar-se'n del lloc ....
(CAS) : La zona de Monticalvari, anexa al núcleo antiguo de Sant Feliu de Guixols, es un umbrío y húmedo lugar con una frondosa vegetación formada por alcornoques, encinas y eucaliptos. Encontramos también, restos de construcciones rurales y de antiguos jardines. Era característico de este lugar la bonita fuente de Monticalvari, una fuente del siglo XIX, hoy desgraciadamente abandonada. Que pena me ha hecho ver el estado de abandono de la fuente, lugar del que tengo imborrables recuerdos de mi niñez: mis primeras excursiones, meriendas con la abuela, cola de gente a buscar agua, … Esperemos que el ayuntamiento entienda que Sant Feliu no es solo la fachada litoral y Vilartagas y comprenda la importancia de recuperar estos pequeños rincones tan emblemáticos para la memoria histórica de la ciudad. Me ha parecido que las encinas, que dan sombra a este rincón, se han solidarizado con mi sentimiento y quieren irse del lugar...
(ENG) : The area of Monticalvari, bordering with the ancient nucleus of Sant Feliu de Guixols, it is a humid shady slope with luxuriant vegetation composed by cork oak, holm oak and eucalyptus trees. Likewise we also find rests of rural constructions and ancient gardens. Characteristic of this area was the lovely Monticalvari fountain, dating from the 19th century, unfortunately neglected today. I feel sorry about the abandonment of the fountain, since I have iunforgetable memories from my childhood: my first trips, picnics with my grandmother, people queuing for water and so on. We hope that the city council understands that Sant Feliu consists not only of the coastline and Vilartagas and understands the importance of recovering these little corners so emblematic for the historical memory of the city. I think that the holm oaks that shade this corner, share my feeling and want to leave the place ...
