KO Lee Ranch Cache near the James (Jim) River in NE South Dakota.
This ranch is well known to the locals, as it has been known by this name for years longer than I have been around. I grew up a few miles from this spot and used to come here and fish and just relax when I was young. I now live nearly 350 miles away, but enjoyed the visit back.
This is a nice area, and there is a good possibility of seeing some Whitetail deer, and probably some ducks, and possibily other water birds. This cache is located on private property, so please respect it as if it were your own, we do. This is also going to be available year round, with obvious digging through snow possibly involved, but the road to it is usually plowed open.
The cache is in an ammo box that is green and white with www.geocaching.com on it.
The cache contains:
- A windchill magnet
- a Hot Wheels car
- Post it notes
- small flashlight with batteries
- a Tigger pen
- a cd with some Black Hills pictures on it
- a Mary Kay sample card
- Phase 10 card game
- a few Lead Fire Department pencils
- velvet can wrap with a handle
- some used golf balls
- a hand warmer
- lady bug LED light
- a glow in the dark lizard
- some pens (courtesy of my mom)
- a disposable camera to take your picture with and leave in the cache
- a log book to log your visit
