Geocache Description:

When I saw this spot I knew it deserved a cache. It is near a waterfall along the brook that runs out of Day Pond. The brook ultimately runs into the Salmon River. There is a well marked blue/red blazed trail nearby which is a side trail off of the Salmon River Trail.

The cache is a small plastic container that holds a log and small items. It is well hidden

The area near the waterfall was the site of a homestead and probably a mill. If you look closely you will see the stone foundations. There is one area along the Arnold Ravine Trail that flourishes with plants that may have been cultivated by the early residents.
