Geocache Description:

The cache is an irregular shaped container located in Ladner Harbour Park not far from the Swanson Trail that takes you to the Wharfinger Office and a wildlife viewpoint along the Fraser Delta. Please read instructions on how to open it gently. Bring own pencil.

The cache location could be subject to flooding so it's best to go when the tide is out. The area can be muddy in places so proper footwear is recommended. Best way in is to follow driftwood "path" on the left of the log in this photo.

Please rehide cache container exactly as found so it doesn't float off to Japan. Thank you.

The park extends into the Ladner Reach of the South Arm of the Fraser River. The Ladner Harbour Park area and the north end of Ladner Marsh are excellent sites to view eagles. A number of Bald Eagles nest nearby in the Fraser River estuary. This conservation area contains native cottonwoods from which bald eagles nest and survey the Fraser River. Trails lead from the parking lot throughout the park. Other features include beach access to the Fraser River, picnic areas, and a children's playground plus excellent views of the boat and marine traffic in the Fraser River.
