Geocache Description:

This cache is hidden in Headwaters Park in Moscow, Michigan.
The grounds are open from 9am to sunset.

The Park is home to the Michigan And Ohio Railroad Depot. The Stick Style station was completed one month after the M & O Railroad reached the town of Moscow September 4, 1883. The two-room depot serviced mail, freight, and passengers for the two freight and two passenger trains passing through daily on the Michigan And Ohio's Allegan-Toledo line.

In 1887 the Cincinnati, Jackson And Mackinaw Railroad purchased the Michigan & Ohio and it's depots. The depot was then owned by the Lake Shore & Michigan Southern until the line fell under New York Central Railroad ownership. Shortly after, the N.Y.C. closed the line in 1930.

In 1933 the depot became the Moscow Township Hall.

Congrats to EMT_1497 For the ftf!
