Geocache Description:

A cache and dash for a traditional ammo box cache in Kings Somborne.

If you happen to be walking the Clarendon Way then this will be on your route, alternatively it is easily accessible for cars, buggies, wheelchairs and cycles.

The Parish of King’s Somborne Situated in the Borough of Test Valley, in the County of Hampshire, the Parish is bounded by the River Test on the west and lies between Romsey and Andover. Its proximity to the royal city of Winchester and the lushness of its countryside was the making of much of its earlier history. The Parish has at its heart the village of King’s Somborne, but its 6700 acres also encompass the communities of Brook, Compton, Furzedown, Horsebridge and Up Somborne.

The cache is a brown ammo box with a geocache sticker on the side, when placed the cache contained:

Small model plane
Small pack of pens
CIIP Travel Bug (Mission to travel round the world and home again in a year)

There is an ammo box badge pinned to the logbook for whoever is first to find!
