Geocache Description:

This cache is an OD green ammo can is hidden near the Pohick Regional Library. The terrain is basically flat, but as you get deeper into the woods, it gets more thornier and possibly muddier. Beware of poison ivy and thorns. Long pants are recommended for this easy to find, but a bit of a challenge to get to - cache.

As the tennis balls, left behind, go from yellow to white, you'll know you're getting closer.

If you spend enough time in the woods you may come across a small hollow in a tree, which is typically used as a Gnomish house; that or Pixies and you better hope it isn't a Pixie house. Trust me.

If you did find a Gnomish house it is best to not disturb it, because they are fragile and once disturbed, a Gnome will never return to the site. A few Gnomes have lost their homes due to the rapid growth of this area, and as such, they have taken refuge in several places of safety, such as this cache.

So if you find the cache and if there is a Gnome about, please do not disturb him and just leave him be - he may allow you to take a picture of him, but please don't take him from his home. After all "Gnome is where the heart is..."
