Geocache Description:

This cache is located at Steele Creek Park in Bristol, TN. You can access the park from two locations. For an easier route you can come into the park at the main enterance and park at the lake. Or you may drive 1/2 mile further down to the Mill Creek Trailhead giving you an extra 1/2 mile walk through the park coming across the picnic areas.

Starting at the beach house in front of the lake the trailhead starts at the long footbridge and fishing pier. The cache is located on Slagle Hollow Trail (a Hiking and Biking Trail) which forks to the right. You will have a 1/2 mile moderate hike straight to the cache. The cache is in a 9" X 9" square tupperware container. Please feel free to take an item and leave an item. PLEASE NO FOOD. Enjoy the day at the park. If you have the time you can continue straight on the trail, take a left at the crossing, then take another left at the next fork, then at the next crossing connect to the trail leading to the dam, and come out at the Dam, which will take you back to your car. Or you can take the trail to the lake footbridge which will make a loop from where you began. If you decide to go by the dam make sure you take a left at the dam and walk by the lake to get back to the beginning. You may want to mark the coordinates of your car. The reason I am telling you this is because a couple of the trail signs are missing. Make sure to bring your fishing pole since it is very common that you can hook a 5 pound bass. Park hours are from 6:30 am to 9:00 pm everyday. This cache contains many things Good Luck!
