Whilst out and about on various caching missions, it has come to
our attention that the area has a particularly rich vein of
community art installations. This cache is part of the
RascalGaskell's Art Therapy (RAT) series, aimed to give the caching
community a taste of artistic appreciation.
On the 5th of May, 2006, Phoenix Green and the adjoining bridge
were opened. In early 2007, the mural on the bridge was created by
Kirsty Whitrow and Paul Barrand, along with groups from local youth
centres.
Parking can be found right next to the bridge in the car-park for
the Belvoir shopping centre. Half of the car-park is free, and the
entrance to the carpark is next to the level crossing - see the
additional waypoint.
The cache location can be overlooked from the nearby pub, so
please use stealth!
