This simple, two stage cache was placed on Memorial Day, 2010. It begins in Chillicothe's Veterans Memorial Park, and both stages are within reasonable walking distance of one another. The cache is not located at the above coordinates - instead, they bring you to a monument. Read the various passages to answer the questions and solve the coordinates for the final stage.
Memorial Day is a remembrance of American war dead. Its history dates back to the end of the Civil War, and was originally called Decoration Day. On May 1, 1865, thousands of Charleston, SC residents gathered at a cemetery for Union soldiers who died in a Prisoner of War camp - graves were decorated, speeches offered, and military marches took place. Prior to the war, the POW camp had been a horse racing track. It is now known as Hampton Park.
Beginning in 1868, observance of Decoration Day was established on May 30, specifically because that date was not the anniversary of any major Civil War battle.
The term Memorial Day was first used in 1882, but did not become common until after World War II. Passage of a Federal law in 1967 officially changed the name as it is known today. Beginning in 1971, after the US Congress passed the Uniform Holiday Bill, the observation of Memorial Day was moved to the last Monday of May. Several groups advocate returning its observance back to May 30. In 2002, the Veterans of Foreign War stated in its Memorial Day address "Changing the date merely to create three-day weekends has undermined the very meaning of the day. No doubt, this has contributed a lot to the general public's nonchalant observance of Memorial Day."

Container is fairly well camoflaged, but large enough for a log and small trade items. Parking is available at the first stage on the street West of the park. The final stage is in probably one of the nicest, but least busy areas of Yoctangee park. You can either make the short walk (about 0.2 miles) or drive - there is plenty of parking very near the final stage.
