Geocache Description:

Hello and purrs from Floppy the cat.  Some of you have heard about me or read my story but for those who don’t know about me yet, you can find my web page at floppyandfriends.tripod.com

In short, I’m a beautiful tabby cat who can’t walk, so therefore I flop.  I am one of the most spoiled cats ever to inhabit this great land of Camano Island.  To escape my limited flip flop existence, my other cat friends and I go on a dream cloud….where I can fly and roam free and explore all the great marvels down below.  I’ve traveled far, from sea to shining sea, from mountain tops to desert lands.  Now I am on a geocache adventure that my human mom and dad got me hooked on.  Welcome to my world…….

“Wake up sleepy head” Floppy nudged her best buddy Flipper.

“Wha-a-a, wha’cha want?” hissed the gray fluffy cat Flipper.

“Times a-wastin’, we have to go hide a cache box in the park for mom and dad.” Floppy said.

“What do you want to hide a cat box there for when we have a perfectly good one right here at home?”

Floppy sighed.  “Not a “cat” box, a “Cache” box silly!”

“Oh I get it.  The park that we go sit on the beach and watch the seagulls make all that noise?” replied Flipper.

Floppy smiled.  She knew the park quite well because her human mom and dad took her there often for long walks and to just watch the pretty sunsets.  The Camano Island State Park is a huge camping park. Nearby is our famous Cama Beach, well worth visiting.

So the two cats took off paw in paw.  They saw at the beginning of the trail a sign that said:  Falling can be deadly, please stay on the trail. They took the Loop Trail for the West Rim Section.

“Let’s stroll down this way Flipper, but be careful of the cliff side.”

“Oh Floppy, there is a nice railing along the edge to guide us and over there is a bench, let’s sit and look out at the water.”

“Ok, let’s sit at that far bench, we’ll picnic there.”  Floppy purred.

So the two cats found the purrfect bench to sit and have a treat.  Then it came to them…(like a human AHA! moment)  “Let’s hide the cache box right back there!”

So Floppy and Flipper did and now it is your turn to find it.

Suggestion:  Try not to leave a geotrail.
This is a big container full of things for a cat lover – if you can, replace with your favorite cat item.
Happy tails!
