You get a line, I'll Get a pole! We'll go fishing at the fishing hole!
This cache is located near Peppers Mill Pond in Ware, Massachusetts. This pond is managed by the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation and is located South of Quabbin Reservoir. This pond receives trout stocking in the spring and provides a full season of enjoyment for anglers.
When you get a chance to stop by the cache feel free to continue up the large pathway to the pond. It is a very beautiful place to walk to and fish. Just down the street there is an entrance to Quabbin Reservoir which is another great place to fish or just a drive!
The parking area (coordinates posted below) is right off the side of the road. It is a small dirt/gravel lot and the entrance to the large trail is clearly visible and marked.
From the parking area start down the path where you find the blue gate marked "DCR". Walk a little more than half way to the pond and the cache will be just into the woods on the right. The cache is not far off the pathway so you do not have to be concerned about too much bushwhacking and there are very few prickers to get in the way.
The cache is a camo covered waterproof box filled with some good swag to get it started.
