Geocache Description:

This is a challenge cache, so you must complete the challenge in order to log a "Found it" for the cache. Please see the description for the logging requirements. There is a physical cache at posted coordinates.

Feel free to visit the cache and sign the physical log anytime you wish, but you cannot log it online until you qualify. The first Boy Scout (8-17 years of age) to complete the challenge wins a small prize pack of Scouting Collectables from Hamaker’s Encounter with Scouting. Congratulations go to goblincamper2004 for their “First to Find” and who contacted me within an hour of its posting of their requirements .

All 25 caches must be in the State of Utah. Qualifying councils include Trapper Trails, Great Salt Lake (GSLC) and Utah National Parks (UNPC) Councils of The Boy Scouts of America. Ignore your personal caches; they do not count for or against you, except for the optional “Cache to Eagle” requirement. You do not need to be a Boy Scout. Only finds after to when UNPC's first “Cache to Eagle” went up (GC1Z0RD), September 22, 2009, can count.

1) Find one of each type of Get in the game/Treasures of Scouting “Scout Caches”: I.E. Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Varsity, Venturing, Volunteers, and Alumni. The can be from any Utah council, in any order, or in any combination.

2) Find three “Cache to Eagle” caches OR own a “Cache to Eagle” cache.

3) Find 15 other caches with “Scout” or “Scouting” in their names, which are owned by units of BSA, or are puzzle based on BSA Scouting. They must be of more than one type; Traditional, Multi-Cache, Mystery or Puzzle Caches all count.

4) Complete a GPS course put on by one of the Utah BSA Councils (This may be done while at summer camp) OR attend one Utah CITO event.

5) Discover and/or move along one BSA trackable; “Pillars of Scouting” Travel Bug, “Race to 2010” pinewood Derby geobug, “Cache to Eagle” geocoin OR a Utah council’s geocoin. It must appear in your Trackable Items log and not be owned by you.

******After all requirements are met, do one of the following; List in your log your 25 finds with the GC code, cache name, date found, type and if necessary its connection to BSA Scouting. Include your BSA unit and age if you are a scout. OR Send me an e-mail of the same.

If you have questions regarding how to verify, let me know. Please trade up or even, and reclose and rehide the contained well. "Found it" logs without complete requirements will be deleted. Thanks! :)
