Geocache Description:

This cache was placed while I did the Bluff Trail with K-Romers. This looked like a nice spot for a rest. Cache is a mayonnaise jar with some rocks in it to weigh it down and a log sheet inside a baggie. Bring your own writing stick and enjoy the view.

This is a cache on a wonderful trail system south of the 103 near Tentallon NS. Be prepared for at times a rugged trail with many hours of hiking. The trail is well marked with signs at intersections with open portions in the barrens. Bring a compass and make note of the safety bearing as you enter the system.

For reasons of safety, hikers should carry a map and compass, first aid kit, adequate water and water purifiers, extra layers of warm, dry clothing, rain jacket and rain pants, a knife, emergency matches, and flashlight. Hikers should be alert since they will be traveling through bear and moose country. The trail is a wilderness trail, designed to challenge and delight the experienced hiker. Hikers should use caution at all times

If you do this cache you will be rewarded with spectacular scenery and examples of Nova Scotia wilderness
