Zhong Shan #5 - Peaceful South Multi-Cache

this one survived without maintenance for 2 years and 10 months after we left for Hong Kong. Just now somebody found the old tupperware useful....
As we don't know anybody in Nanjing to continue the cache, we have to archive it.

one hour walk in the forest on unpaved roads in the less crowded South of Zhongshan
Zhong Shan is the green centre of Nanjing, Aside from various attractions, with sometimes rather expensive entrance fees, there are also areas, where you can have a nice walk through park-like areas free of charge. Those areas are less crowded than the small parks in the city. This is the fifth of a series of Geocaches in Zhong Shan, we are planning as a weekend family activity for all Geocachers in the area.
You may park your car at Lingu temple or go there by taxi (Every Taxi driver will easily understand and bring you to Lin Gu Si). The starting point is rather far from it but the cache is not, so you will come back here. If you drive yourself, there are many inofficial and therefore free parking lots next to the starting point.
From the starting point at N 32°02.734 E 118°51.394 follow the path to N 32°02.669 E 118°51.271 here you find a huge tree, which in 2-3 m height separates it's trunk into 'x' big arms (only count the living big arms (as least as thick as a mens leg), not the small dead ones and not the one small living arm, which is coming out of one of the big ones ans is considerable thinner (as a womens wrist).
Now follow the path to the North til N 32°03.092 E 118°51.(60 * x + 12). here you find an old structure with stone windows (no glass). Count the number ( y ) of octagons in the first of such windows along the path.
Opposite you'll find a narrow concrete path through the forest to N 32°03.078 E 118°51.(80 * x). From there use the path til the final at N 32°02.( 874 + y ) E 118°51. (81 * x + 3)
Do not forget the hint for the Zhongshan Bonus Cache on the backside of the logbook ( N2 = ... )
