Geocache Description:

This is a tupperware container with a bunch of small toys for the kiddies. It is a very busy stretch of public trail in front of waterfront condos and townhomes, so beware of muggles and be very stealthy. It is recommended that once you spot the cache, make a quick grab and take it back to one of the park benches close by to sign the log. Please replace it as you found it.

This thin stretch of parkland in Bronte Ontario called Water's Edge Park is part of the Lake Ontario Waterfront trail (visit link) and the Canadian Trans Canada Trail (visit link) .

As folks have noted, on hot muggy days the smell from the rotting algae can be pretty bad. If you want more information about this issue, the municipality of Halton has produced a brochure with all the facts at the following link: (visit link)

The Waterfront Trail has been an instrumental part of Lake Ontario’s regeneration. Along it you will find a 900 km celebration of nature and culture - where peaceful countryside, small towns and big cities are linked in bringing Lake Ontario to this province's residents and visitors, alike. Goto (visit link) to find out more.

From coast to coast to coast the Trans Canada Trail is one of Canada’s truly great endeavours. Experience Canada’s legendary wilderness, explore provincial and territorial capitals, canoe the routes of early explorers, visit national and provincial parks, commute to and from work, cycle historic rail trails and picnic in urban parks. Visit (visit link) for more information.
