This traditional cache is located at our favorite camping destination in Alberta, Thompson Creek Campground. You will not get wet or injured getting to this location. (kid friendly) Hiding spot is sneaky….look hard – enjoy!
Bring your picnic/lunch and stay for a few hours and enjoy the scenery, or come and stay for a few days and do some hiking in Alberta’s finest playground along the David Thompson Highway. Many exceptional hikes are in the area including Siffleur falls, Allstones Creek and Tershishner Falls. You are about 5 km from the Banff/Jasper National Park gates for even more scenery and fun. This cache is a medium sized camo taped round screw-top container that can be easily accessed from either the highway or from the day use area. Original contents include: logbook, pencil, pins, Croc buttons, bracelets, Pathtag (trackable), and other small trade items. Please ensure you replace in “sneaky”location. Enjoy the hunt. We hope to create a Thompson Creek series each time we go camping or hiking in the area.
