Geocache Description:

My first cache in my hometown.

This bridge is very close to where my Grandma has lived for as long as I can remember. Every holiday my dad's side of the family would come to Grandma's to eat tons of food and celebrate whatever the holiday was. My sisters, all my cousins and I would run to this bridge to play and hope that a train would go underneath as we all stood on top. To be honest I can only think of a very few times that a train actually did go under while we were up top. Nonetheless it was the place to be when all the parents were catching up and Grandma was done pinching cheeks. (I'm 34 years old and she still pinches my cheeks, gotta love the old bat )

I took my kids here for the first time a couple of years ago and told them stories of all the crazy stuff that I used to do there. Then I threatened them, that if they ever even THOUGHT about doing half the stuff that I did on that bridge, there would be consequences. Holy cow...I'm starting to feel like my parents more and more.

Feel free to go over the bridge and have fun. You never know, you may get lucky and have a train go under while you're on top!

Cache is a magnetic key holder near the start of the bridge. You do NOT need to go down the hill or onto the tracks to find this cache!
