Too Hot To Handle Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

weatherstonzoocrew: There ended up being more possible muggling than we thought for the area, especially after the area started having some landscaping down, so we're archiving this one.
It was a good first try. :3
But certainly not our last.

Geocache Description:

Placed in Sewell's Orchard in Columbia.
Hopefully a quick, pleasant cache in a pretty area.
Terrain may increase slightly during/after heavy rainfall.

We recently got addicted to this geocaching thing and decided we wanted to experience the enjoyment of placing our own cache.
We discovered this beautiful place on a caching run a while ago. We saw a perfect spot to hide a container and were thrilled to find out that it was far enough from the other hides in the area that we could use it for our first hide.
Title comes from a rock we saw very near where we placed the container. After some heated discussion we settled upon the title this cache bears. Bonus points if you can get your mitts on a picture with the rock. (If you are unable to find said rock, check out the related webpage. *smiles*)
Container is a small-sized, rectangular camo'd lock'n'lock with space for small items. If you'd like to trade with the theme, just remember the title.
Original contents are a number of fun heat-themed items.

Congratulations to cooley1103 and cycleangela for co-FTF!

8/2/10 This is mugglemom of the zoo crew who hid this cache. I am a little flustered tonight with this cache and am seriously thinking of archiving it. My kids were very excited to hide this cache and we have tried to keep it stocked and well taken care of. It has been muggled once already and the contents scattered throughout the area. A couple days ago we got a DNF and Joecool and I made a special trip in the middle of the night to verify the condition of this cache. It was still in its location--just a few feet from the original spot. I understand the excitement of finding caches and everything--my kids are having a BLAST with this new hobby, but PLEASE...be stealthy, don't let this cache get muggled again! If you move the natural landscape when looking for a cache, put it back...so that others can enjoy the fun of making that find! It is also so fun for the kids who may OWN the cache to hear everytime the cache gets a new find, at least it is for my 3 kids. *smile*
