SQ-Horton Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

-allenite-: As there's been no response from the cache owner to my previous note, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. Please note that if geocaches are archived by a reviewer or Geocaching HQ for lack of maintenance, they are not eligible for unarchival.

Geocache Description:

The SQ in the cache name above signifies Spirit Quest, a project to distinguish those caches that are set in cemeteries or memorial gardens. Please be respectful of the area and observe their rules and posted hours.

Michigan law states that you are only permitted to visit cemeteries dawn to dusk throughout the state unless other hours are posted. Please also be respectful of others in the park that may be paying their respects or mourning their loved ones.

Horton Cemetery is the home of gravesites of two Revolutionary War Veterans. John Britton and William Britton are buried close together just northwest of the entrance. Take a moment before or after your search to visit their graves.

This cache is about the size of a film container with log only. Please place cache back EXACTLY as you found it so others can enjoy the search too! BYOP! There is no need to leave the cemetery property to find this cache.
