Geocache Description:

The cache is at Pine Dunes Nature Preserve, placed with permission from the group in charge. There are two other caches there, one a Letterbox. The cache is a camo'd peanut butter jar, stocked with goodies for kids. It is possible to find this cache in the winter, boots a good idea, it is low but with good geosense you will be ok.

Park at these coords: N 42 45.074, W086 11.925 near the sign at the entrance.

I picked this area to put a cache in the memory of my Mothers' Uncle Albert. Growing up, I remember coming here to visit him. His little home (shack, we called it) was either on the preserve property or right next to it. At that time the lake across the street was called Tibbes' Lake, apparently after Uncle Abert. I remember that he was sort of a loner or "hermit", not sure what his "line of work" was just that his name was brought up a lot at my house. So enjoy the hunt and the hike. Be respectful of nearby residents and of course the preserve itself.
