Geocache Description:

A quick cache and dash that requires a lot of stealth.

Most people would think that roundabouts are boring, but we have been watching this roundabout being built over the last 2 years as we travel past here very day on our way to work.

These crossroads have been a notorious black spot for over 40 years and this roundabout has been in the planning since 2003.

We have called it Andy’s roundabout because it was opened by our Wirral Mayor (2009-2010) who is also one of our neighbours.

The Reverend Jane Turner, Rector at St Bartholomew’s Church, said a prayer for the safety of the motorists, cyclists and walkers that will pass through the junction in the future.

If you continue down Station Road, you will find a pleasant beach and The Wirral Country Park.

Some mayors open hospitals, civic centers or other important institutions. We think this roundabout is just as important.

WELCOME TO ANDY'S ROUNDABOUT.
