How Geocaching Works

Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

Geocache Description:

One pound red plastic Folgers coffee container.

Be careful not to slip on the rocks. Buffalo lake is a great
fishing lake with walleye, northern pike, bass, crappies, sunfish
and plenty of carp. It's a very shallow lake, the deepest point is
about 30' with areas in the middle that are less than three feet.
--Caution! The Difficulty Rating will be much higher in the spring. Buffalo Lake is a flood plain for the Crow River and although the river doesn't flow through the lake it does flow in and out of it via a connecting channel. When the North Fork of the Crow is at flood stage the water level in the lake will be much higher thus making the cache much more difficult to get to.
