Geocache Description:

BEWARE the low strand of BARB WIRE you do not have to pass it.

This cache is in woodland, and the footpath is very overgrown, so I think shorts are out!

As I have now found over one thousand caches, I thought it was time I put out some caches of my own, so I come up with this little series of fourteen caches on a great 5.5-mile walk, based around Basing, and Wildmoor, starting at the Old Reading Road, Chineham, lots of parking space. Just be careful as you begin and end the walk, as you have to cross the busy A33. All the caches are on public footpaths, and very easy to find, as I’ve done this series more to show off some of the north Hampshire countryside, so there are no tricky cache’s.

If you are scared of horses I would recommend that you don’t try this series, there are a lot on the way round, and some like to come and say hello, but I found them all very friendly, remember this is a countryside walk, and therefore you will encounter about 20 stiles, but I saw lots of wildlife which makes it all the more enjoyable.
Deer, Fox, Squirrel, Rabbit, Buzzard, Kestrel, Heron, Dragon Fly’s to name but a few.

Logging Etiquette: Geocache hiders sometimes go through a great deal of planning to place their caches. As a result, they'd like to hear your feedback on whether you liked or disliked any aspect of the hide, or if you feel that some cache maintenance is required. Single word, acronym, or emoticon logs may be easier when you have a lot of caches to log, but it doesn't tell the hider or other finders anything about your adventure (or lack thereof) in finding the cache. Please keep this in mind when entering your log.
