Geocache Description:

Nancy's Peak is on a two-hour walking circuit 40minutes from Albany in the Porongurup National Park.

The granite from which the Range is formed is more than 1,100 million years old.
As well as the beauty of the moss-covered granite rocks, the lush forest and the blaze of colour in spring, the views from the 670 metres high Nancy’s Peak are magnificent.
The Stirling Range is clearly visible to the north and, on a clear day, you can see the Southern Ocean.
The main picnic and parking area near the Tree in the Rock is a haven for birds and is set among towering karri trees. The park's facilities include barbeques, toilets, picnic tables and interpretative signage.

Please note that an entry fee per vehicle applies for this National Park.
