FYI,
they're not balls, they're little tar pancakes.

Come senators, president, Beep Peep and
all,
Come watch all the seabirds take a big fall,
With dolphins and turtles all covered with slime
Don't you think that it's about time--
To plug up the gusher, and scoop up the shine?
There's an oilslick outside and it's ragin'.
An'll soon shake your windows
And rattle congress' halls,
For the beaches they are a-changin'.
(sorry bobby d)
Come and enjoy the beach, it's still
beautiful! The tarballs are thinly scattered in a 2 foot wide
zone at the high tide mark. Step carefully there, but there's a lot
of clean beach for you to use. There aren't many tar balls left
after the cleanup but FTF can collect a tarball from the beach or
watch the Tarball Brigade clean up the beach, one tarball at a
time.
A micro, with a rite-in-the-rain
waterproof log, bring a pen. This one is too simple to need a clue.
Limited muggle activity, but be discrete.
There is a one
dollar charge to cross the bridge, so make it a beach
caching day. There are lots of caches to choose from, from simple
to frustrating.
Please stay off the dunes -- no need
to bushwack for this cache. Other than about 3 feet of soft sand by
the road, this is wheelchair accessible.
Congratulations for FTF goes to k.f.boom, though this one is just
too pathetically easy for a man of his
talents.
No dogs or glass on the
beach.
