Geocache Description:

St Matthew's Church, High Brooms, Southborough

A solid parish church which was constructed in 1902 to serve the growing industrial neighbourhood. It is made from the bricks of the High Brooms Brick and Tile Company. Inside is the Fortress Engineers memorial to those who died off Gallipoli in the collision between HMS Hythe and HMS Sarnia.


This cache is hidden near to St Matthews Church, please take care when retrieving and replacing as the area is overlooked by houses.
