Geocache Description:

This is intended for families with young children, but if you feel young at heart, give it a try -- you may enjoy it! Although not is a great spot for fossils, it is still a good read and it offers a lovely view of the marina...Enjoy!

Seven Points Marina - Raystown Lake
This geo-cache is one of five that have been officially placed (with the Army Corps of Engineers permission, Raystown Lake Branch) at Raystown Lake, Huntingdon, PA by Dr. Kathy Jones, Associate Professor of Education at Juniata College. It is in a large ammo box that has been painted hunter green. It includes a logbook to sign in, a children's book about Rocks, Fossils and Arrowheads, an information sheet and "on the spot" activity with the necessary supplies and a "take home activity" to continue the learning at home...

Make sure you ONLY park in designated spots!

This geo-cache was made possible through a grant from the PA Department of Environmental Protection (PA DEP).
