A view of Moose Mountain from much higher on the ridge
The cache is on another of the endless ridges out in the Sibbald Area of the foothills. Although these ridges are at relatively low elevations, they still can get the old heart rate up! When the elevations of the ridges are compared with the mountains numerically, one could say the ridges are on the minimum value of the range. An awkward paragraph indeed, but full of hints it is.

The hike up this ridge will never be crowded me thinks, maybe the odd geocacher or perhaps Gillean Daffern and company on one of their endless K-Country explorations. Maybe if you had a big ear you could hear someone on the ridge to the west, the one that forms the south route up Ole Buck Mtn. Actually, the only human made sounds you are likely to hear up here are the gunshots originating from the shooting range several kilometres to the east.
The original cache container has been consumed by forest critters and now is a small LnL in a hanger suspended in a stump. See spoiler if required. It contains an unactivated microcoin for the FTF as well as a card and finder’s cards for the next 10 cachers. There are a few small trade items for those who engage in that activity.
NOTE: THE CO-ORDINATE CHECKER BELOW IS TO CONFIRM THE LOCATION OF THE REFERENCE ITEM NOT THE CACHE. You are only looking for the decimal part of the reference item co-ordinates. Some clever cachers may discover the data they need to find the final before setting off, but waiting until you are there shouldn’t slow you down as it is rather obvious and does not require any field puzzle solving skills, just a knowledge of your GPSr’.
And j2d2 takes the FTF, congratulations!
