Geocache Description:

This is a series of Nauga-Hide caches. This cache is along Rt. 42 in Naugatuck State Forrest. There is a parking area on Pines Bridge and Old Litchfield Turnpike. There is also another area located at N 41 26.982 W 073 05.544. It is an easy grab and not one that requires a lot bush whacking. We wanted to make this one easy so the whole family shares in the fun.

The cache is a 2” x 2” Lock & Lock so make sure you have a writing device, because it is a long way back to the car. After you have signed the log, snap the lid back on tight and replace it far in back to its original location.

We spotted this location after we had finished finding Happy Birthday. This is a nice location for a long walk around the reservoirs. We were alone so it was nice and quiet listening to our footsteps and the birds calling. I am not sure if you can fish here, but it does look like a good spot for a few big ones.

Enjoy the cache, remember it is small so do not try to leave oversized items, please. There is a carabiner with a compass attached for the FTF.
