Geocache Description:

This cache is one where you will have to park and walk a little. You will be searching for a "cap" that only contains a log so BYOP. This could be a muggle area depending on time of day. The cemetery closes at dusk so please be mindful of that and not be in there after hours. Watch your step as there are what seem to be baby cactus' in the ground.
congrats MayDiddie54 for the FTF

This is my wife's first hide, so I'll let her fill you in....I wanted to hide my first cache in honor of my hometown where I've lived my entire life; it may not be a grand place, but it's HOME & I love it!
The land where Proctorville is now situated was originally settled in 1797 & called Quaker Bottom. Situated on the Ohio River, Quaker Bottom grew throughout the 1800s as a trading center. In 1834, Jacob Proctor established a general store next to the wharf, & river boat captains knew the town as "Proctor's Landing". When the town was incorporated in 1878, the name was changed to Proctorville in Jacob's honor.
You're looking for a small mint container. You can drive in the gate to get to this cache with parking in grass near the cache, also there is a brick building with some parking nearby, but please be respectful & walk around to the gate to enter, rather than climbing through the open fence (which trust me, isn't very easy anyway unless you're a smaller person, not to mention makes you look suspicious). Muggles shouldn't be too much of an issue as the cache is located a little ways away from the beaten path & pretty much out of the view of passing traffic; just make sure any nearby walkers/bicyclists don't seem too interested. The original coordinates will take you to Mr. Proctor's final resting place. From there is where you will hunt for the cache. Please make sure to replant cache where you find it. Watch your step as there are low-lying baby cactuses in the area that could hurt a bit if not wearing proper footwear.
