Geocache Description:

This is an event designed to teach people about geocaching. I have had several neighbors ask me about Geocaching lately. I would also like to have my 11 year old Scout Troop earn their Geocaching Merit Badge. This event is for you!

What: Teach People about Geocaching
Where: Old Farm Park
When: Saturday, July 17th 9:00 a.m. - Noon.
Why: To have fun

I will need both cachers & non-cachers / future caches to attend this event.

Geocachers: Please come out and share what you know about Geocaching. Be prepared to teach a group of people how to use a GPSr and cover the basics of Geocaching. I will have a lesson plan drawn up for you to follow. I will outline the BSA (Boy Scouts of America) Geocaching Merit Badge requirements as well. My 11 year old scouts will attend so they can earn their merit badge!

Boy Scouts: Come out and cover the most of requirements to earn your Geocaching Merit Badge!

Future Geocachers: If you would like to know more about Geocaching, what it’s all about, how it works and how you and your family participate, please come out and enjoy this event. There are some geocaches located in this park that you will be able to find and log! I also have another Geocache Event planned at Noon here in the park. It is a water fight on the splash pad. You are welcome to attend it as well!
