"Grandpa Rudy" was a practical joker! He worked in the mining industry in Nevada and Colorado and died on his 65th Birthday - the same day he retired from work! He was a boxer when he was young, was a big flirt, loved to fish, and loved his family. He was a wonderful grandpa and is missed by everyone.
GRANDPA’S ROAD – This series of caches is created to honor the men in our families who have gone before us and those still with us…our Grandpa’s! We saw this road many months ago and placed them just before Father’s Day 2010.
These caches are appropriate for all members of the family.
Containers are only large enough to hold the logbook, pencil, and small trade items.
Most family vehicles could safety drive to this location on marked trails and roads.
Caches are within easy walking distance for most.
We invite you to place a cache in honor of your Grandfather’s too. There is lots of space on Grandpa’s Road – at least for now!
