Geocache Description:

Part of a series of caches near to the River Meden in the region of Old Church Warsop and Meden Vale. All are either small or micro caches, as appropriate to the hiding place, but most are a bit unconventional! You will possibly find it worthwhile bringing a notebook and pen along. This is a small green container, with enough room for a couple of geocoins and some small swaps.

There's a bigger and more well-stocked cache lurking nearby, but it will require a keen eye and some considerable brainpower to unlock the clues to its location. One or more of the "Monkey Puzzles" holds the key, so it's essential to keep your wits about you when attempting this series.

This cache is perhaps the easiest in the series, and the location will probably be quite obvious when you get close.

The walk is very pleasant, and you might be able to take in a couple more caches along the way. If approaching from the west, note that you turn right at Assarts Farm and then first left. Then there's a well-trodden path across the field. Don't try driving all the way to the farm; even though it's possible, there's nowhere to park and turning round could annoy the farmer.
