Geocache Description:

This is one of several caches I am hiding along the old Feeder Canal which supplied water from the Grand River at Dunnville to the original Welland Canal. A branch to Port Maitland and a lock allowed ships to travel the canal to and from Lake Erie.

The canal is no longer used for that purpose, but it provides some interesting locations for geocaching. This cache is a regular size camo'd lock'n'lock container along the road allowance beside the Feeder Canal. In the fall you may encounter duck hunters in this area.

Cache contains a log book and a pencil and a few items for trading purposes. Bring BUG SPRAY.
