Geocache Description:

Resting on the shores along Bedwell Bay, this cache rests where two interconnected trees meet. This is a fallen tree, almost looking like it is trying to reach the water. The cache is nestled in a small hole where the two trees emerge out while on the ground. This area can be acessed by kayak, there is a beach where you can dock easly. For the other route you can acess it by land via a beach where the trail ends down by the water on the first entrance to the beach.

To further explain the cache, it is located just above where the water meets the shore. You may have to walk over some stumps and branches. Look for a strangly placed rock in a stump for some reason (I did not put it there) You will see some wierdly placed twigs and sticks below that when the joined fallen trees meet. The cache is covered in these old twigs.

I walked down this trail on an overcast day, looking for a good site for my cache. This is a the good place to have a cache, peacful and calm, very few sounds are heard in this area (when there is nobody mowing their lawn or boats speeding across the water) You may see a group of geese swimming along the coastline.

The cache is a small lock n lock container which is clear and stores a logbook and a really small pencil. You may want to bring a pen to sign the logbook just in case. You can have lunch or explore the area and its other caches. I have another cache at the tip of the Belcarra Penninsula called Keats' Explorer Cache which you may explore.

This place is worth getting to, you just need to find a way in getting there. Kayak or hiking. Look for the cache just up the shoreline where the fallen connected tree from the roots lies, nestled in where the trees connect the cache waits for you, the finder.

The cache also is a great geocoin hotel, you may put as many geocoins in it until it is full.

Take the Bedwell Bay Trail and turn right to go on the east shore of the trail, walk the trail over a bridge, keep walking until you see the trail go down to the beach. The trail does some wierd stuff before this but keep going until you see a real entrance to the beach. Go to the beach and walk south for a bit, then you will eventully arrive at the place I have rambling on about for a long time. I believe you will see the fallen tree.
