Wade, Ontario is a mysterious town. Very little
information is available on the web about this forgotten community.
Some of the only information that can be found is linked below. The
town itself is made up of a handful of small homes. On the far side
of the tracks is an old home that must have served as a train
station at one point.
You'll find
the cache hiding near an old hand water pump, close to the tracks
that pass through the community (not on rail property). Perhaps
this pump was the old 'watering hole' for the community. The facts
will remain unknown. While you are there, If you cross the tracks
(read the "at your own risk" warning signs), the road forks not too
far on the other side. Take a left and continue for about a
kilometer to find access to Fox Lake. Take a dip perhaps; Wade in
the water :)
I hope this
cache has brought you to yet another place you may never have
traveled to otherwise.
Happy
Caching!
