Geocache Description:

Raymond the Turtle was set free!

When we moved to San Ramon a few years ago, the sellers of our home said there was a turtle that lived out in the side yard. They named him Raymond...and had no idea where he came from or why he spent time burrowed under the dirt in summer.

Well, when we bought the house, we were very worried about Raymond the Turtle because we had Juba & Tessa the Dogs. We thought they might be interested in Turtle Soup.

The sellers were able to find the elusive Raymond before we moved in, and they put him in this urban stream. Probably where he originally came from, but did not know how to return!

Now when we walk the dogs along this path, we often see Raymond, or his off-spring, sunning themselves on a log or board in the creek.

Say "HI" to Raymond if you happen to see him on your cache search!

CONGRATULATIONS TO MISTERSCOOTER FOR FTF!
