This is a tupperware container inside a camouflage bag initially containing a logbook, pencil and swappable items. UPDATE 03/09/2020: New smaller pot replaces the old larger tub that was damaged at this location so size amended
This is one of a series placed around the Brushes Clough and Crompton Moor area to try and bring this great area and its views to a wider audience. After our cache aimed primarily for dogs we have decided to make a cache each just for boys and girls. This is the boys cache because it is initially full of swaps with boys in mind, although everyone is welcome and feel free to swap anything. The boys of the Geo Warriors think this cache is far better than the 'Girls will be Girls' cache further round the trail and hope to get more visits than them. The site of Crompton Moor is made up of a variety of habitats including open moorland, plantation pine woodland and dramatic quarries. The area has also been mined for coal as the rock of the moor contains bands of coal very close to the surface. Remains of spoil heaps and disused mine shafts can still be seen. There is a disused mine shaft near the cache. It is safely fenced off, so please do not venture inside the fence.
