We recently found a cache at Westmoor Park and were reminded how nice of a park it is. There is a farm, gardens, and many trails to explore. Bring your GPS, and enjoy a day at the park!!
All caches in this series are located close by the trails, very little bushwacking is required. There are a lot of trails, none of them are marked but for the most part they are wide and easy to navigate. It's a good idea to write down the coords of the parking lot so you won't have any trouble finding your way back to your car, though you can see houses in the distance from most sections of the park, you are never far away from civilization. No bikes or dogs are allowed in the park, and in the warm months watch out for mosquitoes, ticks and poison ivy. The Rock Pile cache is located right off the mowed path-there is no need to bushwack or climb over the rocks. though you will have to have long arms to retrieve this cache from the path or possibly step on one rock to retrieve the cache. . To avoid having this area torn apart by over eager cachers trying to find the camo covered pill bottle, please read the hint, it tells you exactly where to look. The cache container is right under a flat rock with a rock infront of the opening about a foot from the trail. Please cover well when replacing. No need to go farther in.
