This is located in a great park in Meriden. Nice trails, beautiful lake and fantastic views from the top. The cache is an easier hike in the park but remember the bug repellent in season!
This cache is placed in a .30 cal ammo box. This cache is in honor of all critters, and specifically in honor of our sweet shar pei, Amanda! She loved this place for a walk but wasn't much of a hiker so we kept it somewhat easy. When signing the log, honor a critter (your pet, funny antics, animal jokes, sketch, etc.). The contents of the cache are a log book, the start of a Best Friends Geo Coin in Amanda's honor and other pet related trinkets. Enjoy your time here with your pets, they can relax by the stream and have a drink. Upload pictures of your pets at the cache.
