Garphyttans Folkets Park
[SE] Garphyttans Folkets husförening u.p.a. bildades 1924. Andelsteckning i föreningen påbörjades direkt. Man förhandlade också med bruksdisponent Burén om köp av mark, men till en början utan framgång. Till slut fick man köpa en skogstomt i utkanten av Garphyttan där man kunde bygga en Folkets park. Denna invigdes på sommaren 1927.
Först byggdes en dansbana, sedan ett serveringsstånd och ännu lite senare biljettkiosk och skjutbana. Området inhängnades och man skaffade grindar. På senare år har även en minigolfbana tillkommit.
Cachen kan tas även när Folkets Park är stängd (grindarna låsta) - gömman är utanför den inhängnade tomten.

[GB] Garphyttans "Folkets husförening" was founded 1924. The share subscription for the association began immediately. But the negotiations with Master Burén (in order to purchase land) were without success. First later the assiciation could buy a wooded site on the outskirts of Garphyttan where the "People's Park" was build. The park opened summer 1927.
First a dance floor was built, then a little café, and even a bit later, ticket booth and a shooting range. The area is fenced and got gates. In recent years, miniature golf was added to the park.
The cache can be taken even when the People's Park is closed (gates locked) - cache is outside the fenced plot.
