Centennial park covers about 147 acres along the shores of Current River. The park boasts a life-size replica of a 1910 logging camp and museum, the Muskeg Express (a miniature train ride beginning at the museum)*, a children’s farm, picnic tables and playground area. In winter, there are sleigh rides, a sliding hill and cross-country ski trails. There is a concession open daily in the Chalet from 8 am to 7 pm from June to Labour Day and 8 am to 4 pm from Labour Day to May.
The trails lead through Centennial Park and Trowbridge Falls to join the Cascades Conservation Area.
*The Muskeg Express opens in June on weekends only, and operates from July to Labour Day weekend Wednesday to Sunday (starting at noon each of the days it operates).
