This is Turtle Trails a home of the Blanding's Turtle that is a threatened species. You have a very good chance of seeing them in this area, look for gold markings. Also frogs and salamanders are very common here. This is an easy hide meant for the explorer.
The area is a wet land and is part of the head waters of Salt Creek. Expect standing water most of the year, and bugs, lots of bugs when it is warm. Tall waterproof boots are recomended and best to approach from the open field to the west and south of the creek.
