Geocache Description:

A cache that has been hidden to coincide with the 'Minions Meet' organised by soldierblue2.The name has been chosen with his friends and buddies in mind.

This cache has been placed with the kind permission of the South West office of English Heritage.
Please respect the surrounding area.

The Caradon Hill area was once famous for its copper mines but these are long closed. There were also tin mines in the area and on the way to the cache you will pass by the remains of the Stamps engine house and the Pumping engine house of Wheal Jenkin. The dismantled railway that you are walking on was dismantled around 19 and originally extended around the hill, along with a tramway it served the mines and was part of the Liskeard and Caradon Railway.
