The cache is located at the highest point on the CCC Road which is located off Idaho I-90 between Kingston and Cataldo. The road is mostly unpaved, narrow and steep in sections. I have always seen it in good condition, but travel might be a little scary in a car. I rode my mountain bike and Joy rode the ATV to place the cache. Once there, it should be an easy find. This gravel road was built during the Depression by the Civil Conservation Corp, hence the name. I first encountered it while participating in the 10th annual "Ride The Wall" event that takes place each year on the Summer Solstice. The trip affords great views of the Coeur d'Alene River.
